Piano Player’s Organ Encounter (PPOE)
This children’s music event is open to ALL!
Anyone who has studied the piano is welcome to join in our Piano Player’s Organ Encounter. Have you wondered why the organ sounds different from your piano? Have you ever wondered what your organist is doing up there at the organ?
Pianists bring a simple piano piece that they are comfortable playing. (A hymn is an easy piece.) We meet at the piano to share our selections and proceed in small groups of two or three to the organ for an opportunity to play.
Sunday, April 18, 2010
Musicians’ Meeting
All children who have had instrumental lessons this year are invited to bring their band or orchestra instrument and play a short song for each other.
