Our Church's Future
On Sunday, March 27th, a group of the congregants gathered in the sanctuary, after a short time of refreshment and fellowship, for the purpose of sharing our hopes and dreams for our church.
Rev. Lisanne Finston, who was our guest preacher during morning worship, facilitated the afternoon session.
As we entered the sanctuary we were encouraged to write by decade what we remembered about what had been happening in our church. The result is the "Mind Map" file listed below.
We broke into small groups to discuss our plan for the future. We then gathered together to share what was discussed in the small groups with the entire group. The result is the file entitled "Your Ideal Future."
Our Church Council needed everyone’s input for this process as our goal is to take our hopes and dreams and form them into a mission statement and vision statement that will help direct our ministries for the next 3 to 5 years.
